Ahhhh, lazy Sunday. We just got back from the indoor swimming pool. So fun. It was a last minute decision to go, since it was an overcast morning. The sun is just now starting to peek out in the sky.
The kids were up right at 7am. I think Tyler could have slept longer, but got up with Vincent. They came in our room, and Tyler wanted to know if there was a spot for him. He seemed tired still, so we sent Vincent away to play on his own. On the drive north to the pool, Tyler fell alseep. Still so cute. His perky little lips.
We love the Mountlake Terrace pool. It's super big, warm, and has the best shallow pool. Both kids can now touch the bottom with their heads completely above the water. Tyler was "swimming" around with a couple of those noodle floaty things and doing really well kicking and floating. I finally put him in a life vest, and he did kicked around happily. He did great! So did Vincent, actually. He mostly played, but then "swam" around with the noodles, too.
After swimming, we were all starving. David and Vincent had a great idea to have Mexican food. David knew just the spot. So good.
Now, a little quiet time.
