Company Picnic

I have always wanted to attend a company picnic. My friend, Angela, had one back when she got her first job out of college. I missed that one. David's had a couple with Microsoft that I've missed. When I could attend them, they stopped doing them. Sheesh.

But, not today. Today, the kids and I got to join David and his co-workers for the first Seattle office Salesforce.com company picnic. Woohoo!!

There was tasty southern food, bocce, some golfball toss game, badminton, a three-legged race, a sack race, egg toss, and good ol' picnic fun. Vincent was totally in his element. He went right up to the grown ups and asked them their names, told them his, and played games with them. At one point, someone commented that if Vincent were to sign up for LinkedIn, he'd get a bunch of requests from all the techies he was networking with. Here are the highlights.
Tyler was lovin' his lunch.
Vincent was great at this game.
Tyler played in the sand a lot.
Egg toss. The egg didn't stand a chance.

Dinner tonight (at home), butternut squash ravioli (store bought) with brown butter balsamic fava beans. We also had sauteed beet greens with Walla Walla sweet onions and a salad.
