Seaside, Day 2

For having gone to bed so super late, Vincent woke up so super early. It was actually his normal wake up time, but sheesh.

I got up with him and took him to Safeway down the street to buy a few provisions for the stay. I'm so proud of our eating today, by the way. Every meal was enjoyed at the condo, and most of the stuff was brought from Seattle. We only had to get a few things from Safeway. Unfortunately, beach towels were some of those things. At least they were cheap.

After breakfast, we rented a surrey. What's a surrey, you ask? This is a surrey.
How fun is that?! Yes, I helped peddle.

Next, we went back out to the beach. It was quite breezy, and the kids were cold, so we didn't last long.

Lunch was sandwiches at the condo. After lunch, both kids took naps. Thank goodness.Naptime over, fun time starts up again!

We head into the city center to ride the bumper cars. But, first! A stop at Dairy Queen. I think David had a craving.

Unfortunately, Vincent took about 2 bites of his Blizzard and called it quits. He and David head back to the condo to put it in the freezer, but as soon as they leave, Tyler decideds he want to leave, too. We all meet back after a slight detour and go check out the bumper cars.

Not open until 7pm?! No problem, there's a carousel...
And, Funland...
Tyler won 50 tickets at some coin drop game.
Vincent won a bunch, too, but he mostly played racing games.

Dinner was back at the condo. Almost all of the items were brought from home: tamales, lettuce for salad, zucchini, and red potatoes. I had to buy dressing, though I forgot I had a lemon, which I could've made a vinaigrette with. Oh well. The kids got to watch Ratatouille while I cooked dinner.
After dinner, we went back to ride the bumper cars. Woohoo!

We rode the cars, then came right back to the condo to finish up Ratatouille before an even more super late bedtime than last night. Whew! What a day!
