We got to play outside the afternoon, and nobody got wet! It rained like crazy last night, about 1 inch. Apparently, that's a lot. It caused a minor leak in our basement. Gosh, I've been talking about rain quite a bit lately. Will it ever stop? It's an "el Nino" year, right?
Anyway, it did stop a bit this today. Long enough for a bit of sunshine to come through our sliding glass door for Stella to bask in, and for me to take the kids out for some much needed playground time. They were so happy, and didn't even put up a fight when it was time to leave.
We ate Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Tyler got a whole one to himself, and for several minutes, he didn't know what to make of it. He eventually got it.
And, after dinner tonight, we walked to the library. While walking there, the boys raced. Here they are getting on their marks.
