David's parents are in town! Aside from when my mom was here to help us move into the house, and when our friend was housesitting while we were in L.A., these are our first house guests. It's so nice to have the extra space so that we don't feel like we're all on top of each other. And, my father-in-law has already helped to hang up two of the things I've been wanting to get done. David would have done it, but he wanted to make sure it gets done correctly. He said he even learned some tips from good ol' Dad.
We mainly just hung around near the house today, getting the grandparents acclimated to the new neighborhood. We checked out the schoolyard, then the playground and community center. Then, they played in the backyard while David and I prepared dinner.
After dinner, we drove to Capitol Hill for Old School Frozen Custard. Yum.
