There was Secret Garden for Vincent, the gym for Tyler and I, work for David...Then, there was cooking lunch at home (delicious spaghetti with meat sauce), taking Tyler to a playground, picking up Vincent from school...
While waiting for Vincent to come out, I let Tyler play a Thomas and Friends matching game. He's getting pretty good at it, finally understanding the concept, and loves that it's trains. When it was time to be done, he was sooooooo sad. Full tears of sorrow.
We stopped at the library to pick up some stuff on hold. Vincent asked to pick out a book: Jack and the Beanstalk. He borrowed it with his own card, which he apparently didn't know he had. Tyler also wanted to pick one out, and just scurried for the first thing he could find: The Hanukkah Mice. Hehehe. Luckily, I had just found Choo Choo, by Virginia Lee Burton. Yup, he was okay with that one. I read it to him when we got home just before his nap.
Both boys napped, then we went to karate with Vincent. His friend, Henry, came along for "bring a friend" day. Vincent did pretty well, even with a friend there, but was still a little distracted.
Dinner tonight, we had Paul over for hot pot. His wife and kids are in Hungary. Then, we let the boys watch television while we played a couple of rounds of "Guillotine," a card funny card game.
