Vincent's karate school is having their belt testing next week. I think this means that they Vincent will have a chance to move from a white belt with a black tip to a white and yellow striped belt. Not sure, though. They have to perform a 10-move sequence to pass the test. Let me tell you, the kid has gotten SO much better since he started in October, but "coordination set" is a lot for a little guy to remember. And, he gets mixed up with which side to kick and punch. Nonetheless, there have been great improvements and he loves this activity.
As you can see, Vincent gets a little mixed up with his arms and legs, but he's trying hard and paying attention. And, this is just half of what they have to do. I didn't quite get the rest, but it's a bunch of kicking that he's got down. And, there will be a bonus set of moves they can do.
Along with the testing, there will be an all school graduation ceremony at the end of next week. With demos and such. How cool is that?! Yes, I'll be posting that footage next week.
