Salesforce Holiday Party 2011

Today...
was Vincent's last day of class before the winter break,
David worked from home,
and Tyler and I stayed home from the gym to get some packing done.

David had lunch with Tyler and I at Samurai Noodle. Gosh, it's yummy. Then, we all picked Vincent up from school.

After nap time, our friends Mama Jen and her two boys, Max and Julian, came over to play. The boys all struggled a little. Fits and tantrums were being thrown by all 4 of them. It's a sign that we don't do play dates enough anymore. We used to all the time when Vincent was younger. Nonetheless, I love hanging out with them.

And, at 5pm, Tessa showed up to watch the boys so David and I could go to his work's holiday party. Woohoo!

It was at the Woodland Park Zoo. We started off in the Carousel Room for cocktails and appetizers. Oh yeah, we got to go for a ride.
The dinner was held in the Rainforest Pavilion. To be honest, I was a little skeptical on how nice it would be, but they did a pretty decent job decorating and making the place look warm and inviting. There were pretty green and red twinkling lights on the ceiling that looked like fireflies. The entertainment was a photo booth that you take pictures yourself, and karaoke.
Those are "DIY" cheesecake desserts.
And, my favorite of all...
I had Tessa decorate sugar cookies with the boys as an activity tonight. She said it actually calmed them way down and they did quite well. They watched the second half of "Cars" and went to bed easily.
