Closed!!

This morning, the boys and I met up with my friend, Jen, and one of her boys, Julian, at the Science Center, only to find out that they are closed on Tuesdays! WHAT?! (the IMAX was open, but still...) Be warned, don't plan a Tuesday outing to the science center.

Kinda hard to switch plans on the fly when two four year olds and one soon-to-be-2 year old are expecting something specific. Actually, Tyler couldn't care less exactly what we did, as long as we did something. But, what to do?

Turns out, they were perfectly content to have a snack and play in the tiny playroom at the Center House. Then, we headed back to our house for a little more playing. Whew! No tantrums to be had over a change in plans.

Tonight, David and I had a date. Yay! We met for $1 Taco Tuesday at Licorous and had, well, tacos. They are so darn good, I dream of them sometimes. I had 3, David had 5, and we shared a plate of Pretzel Dots (one each), which are mini pretzel sandwiches with prosciutto, cheese, and sauerkraut. Yum. And, since we were there for happy hour, our cocktails were half priced.

When we got home, we were greeted by two very happy boys, who just finished a huge dinner. Audrey said that Vincent ate for about an hour and a half. Not because he was eating slowly, but because he kept asking for more food. Amazing.
