Well, sort of. For our family, at least.
Today was our last class at the Parent Child Center at Seattle Central. Vincent and I took classes there for 2 years. Tyler was even in a few of those classes with us, as a little lumpy baby. Tyler and I took classes there for 2 years as well. And, David and Tyler took a Dad's class there this year. They finished up their last class on Saturday, and Tyler and I finished up ours today. Vincent joined us, which seemed appropriate. It's been a great four years of having this place as a part of our lives. And, with budget cuts to the community college (50% to this program), we'll be lucky if this class is still offered, should we ever decide on more children.
Anyway, it was a fun class today. I have a video of the boys during a short circle time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmVfPohGFtQ
And, some pictures.
Tyler was the ring leader in this little "train" ride. He was upset at first because he remembered from another class that there's a third piece to it. Nonetheless, he still had quite a ball.
I just love the shear joy on Vincent and Simone's faces when Daniel blew the bubbles for everyone.
Class photo.
After class, I decided to take the boys to Samurai Noodle for lunch.
Tyler was happy to have his photo taken...Vincent, not so much.
And, this afternoon, Vincent started T-ball!! Check out Vincent's stance. When it was his turn, he stepped right up and whacked it. It didn't go far, but he made it to first base!
