The Biggest Playground

Knowing it was going to be another sunny day, we planned ahead for what we'd do today. David came up with the idea of the playground at St. Edwards State Park. We met up with Paul and Gabi and their kids there. Apparently, many other families had the same idea. But, that's okay, cuz this place is so spacious, with many picnic tables, and tons of grass. And, the playground had plenty of space for everyone. Okay, now that I think of it, maybe it's not the biggest playground, but the play structures were vast. Not just one giant one, though there was one of those, but many to play in, on and around. Check it out. This was just half of the area. Can you spot David?
Vincent loved the tires "ladder" and playing "police chase" with David, Paul and Oliver. Tyler loved the sandbox, and just wandering around the whole place.
On the drive home, both boys fell asleep. When we got home, we tried putting them both back down to rest. Tyler fell back to sleep, but Vincent just rested. While they were down, David and I sat on our front steps, drank water, ate yogurt covered pretzels and admired our neighborhood. I just loved it.

For dinner, we had grilled flat iron steaks, grilled zucchini, noodles, and this pastry sort of thing that I just made up in my head because I needed to use up some tart dough and tapenade. I forgot to take pictures.
