Chinese New Year Festival

Vincent's Chinese school had a new year's celebration today. There was a dragon and lion dance. Each class did a little performance as well. Vincent's was on second. They were so cute!

After the performances, we had a potluck, which Tyler loved. He sat quietly at the table eating. Vincent sat next to friends.

This afternoon, we took the boys to our friends' house to celebrate their son's birthday. Julian turned 4 years old, and it was a blast. The boys played really hard. Here they are getting ready for the party.

After the party we let the boys watch Ni Hao Kai Lan and eat popcorn. Tyler was so proud of himself for being able to hold the big bowl.

  2. Actually, I don't think you have to be Chinese to go to the school, but I suppose it helps. Lots of stuff for the parents there are in Chinese and I'm usually asking for translations!
