The sun's shining, I got the kids napping, my coffee is hot, and I've just set up the laptop on the picnic table outside on our back deck. Oh, and the baby monitor is set, too. I sit down, and what should happen?
The neighbor's big, LOUD dog spotted me. He came running up to the fence and started barking, and barking, and barking. I tried shushing him, but only ended up scrambling to get everything back inside so he'll stop barking.
Seems the Sun Gods are not on my side with these few days of much needed sunshine.
