The help has gone, and we are now a family of four, muddling our way through everyday life.
Thank you to NaNa (David's mom) for all the help for over 2 weeks, and to A-ma & A-gong (my mom & dad) for all their help, too. Travel plans for all of them ended up changing, for various reasons, but in the end, it worked out to be for the best. A-ma has a broken wrist & will be having her cast taken off during the time of her original stay here, so she came early, along with A-gong, who helped cook & do a few minor home projects.
Vincent seems to be adjust a little better each day. David and I still haven't figured out our morning routine, and I'm not entirely sure how I'll get Vincent down for his afternoon naps on my own. Of course, nights are long and we aren't getting much sleep. Tyler wakes and eats more frequently (though not necessarily more ounces) than Vincent did. Yes, we've tried to wake him to get him to take more, but it doesn't work.
Along with the help of our families, we have been so fortunate to have our friends who have come by and dropped off meals. Thank you, thank you to all of them! Man, there are so good cooks out there!
